Gillette Ridge was named to honor Francis Gillette, a local 19th century reformer, politician and business leader, whose house still stands on the site.
Legendary golfer and world renowned architect Arnold Palmer crafted Gillette Ridge to capitalize on the site’s natural beauty. Streams, lakes, elevation changes, and mature trees are all part of this tremendous golf experience. Like Palmer himself, Gillette Ridge is a bold and daring design that has raised golf in Hartford to new and exciting levels.
Over the years, Gillette Ridge has received recognition such as Travel & Leisure Magazine naming us a “Top 10 New Public/Resort facility” in 2004, hosting the LPGA Futures Tour Cigna Golf Classic from 2005-2008 and also hosting the PGA Tour Travelers Championship Qualifier from 2010-2012. We are proud of our story and are constantly look to make adjustments and improvements that will enhance the experience for golfers and patrons of all ages and skill levels. We are excited about the changes made this year and would love for you to join in the experience.
